Any South African citizen or permanent resident who is 18 years or older,
employed or self-employed, and meets our affordability criteria can apply.

What documents are required?

You will need a valid South African ID, latest payslip, three months’ bank
statements (or bank transaction accesss) and proof of residence.

How long does the application take?

The application takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. Once submitted,
our team will review it and assessment process begins.

We will notify you via email or SMS regarding the outcome of your application.
If approved, our team will contact you with next steps.

How long does approval take?

Applications are assessed as quickly as possible once all required documents have been received and verified.

Are there any upfront fees?

No. We do not charge any upfront application fees.

How is affordability assessed?

We assess your income, expenses, and financial commitments in accordance with the National Credit Act.

Can self-employed applicants apply?

Yes. Self-employed applicants can apply with 6 months’ bank statements and the required supporting documents.

What happens if my application is declined?

If your application is declined, we will notify you of the outcome. You may reapply if your financial circumstances change.
